AD BANNER BLIND // UPHOARDED WINDOW TREATMENT

Yet another arm of FG’s ongoing “uphoarding” operations, this particular project aims to create something new and wonderful from a common waste by-product of the ad industry: vinyl outdoor banners.

Used to produce everything from billboards to event signage, and discarded by the truckload daily as campaigns change and messages are tweaked, this material now receives new life in the FG Ad Banner Blind.

With the perforated vinyl producing a unique scramble effect when layered, the Ad Banner Blind is a startlingly simple, but stunningly beautiful piece – rising as it were from the ashes of our all-too-familiar advertising world.
